Cliff Top Club, Auli
The Cliff Top Club Resort at Auli is a luxurious ski resort, located at over 10,000 ft above sea level. The resort provides a 270 degree view of the snow clad Himalayan peaks including Nanda Devi, Trishul, Dronagiri, Kamet and Neelkanth. You may descend at Tower No. 8 to reach Cliff Top Club if you are arriving Auli by Cable Car (Ropeway).
The Resort has 25 studios, 16 one bedroom units and 2 family suites with double bedrooms. All units are furnished and equipped with modern facilities alongwith partial kitchenette with refrigerator, microwave and hob with four burners. All units have television with satellite connections, telephones, kerosene and oil heat radiators.
In winters (from Dec end till Feb) the motor road from Joshimath to Auli is not operational due to heavy snowfall. Cable car is the only mode of transportation from Joshimath to Auli during those times. The road distance between Joshimath and Auli is around 17 km. A 4.5 km long ropeway connects Auli with Joshimath. (It is Asia’s largest ropeway). The last trip of the cable car to the resort leaves Joshimath at 4:20 pm during winters and 5:30 pm during summers.
