Dhari Devi Mandir: This sacred temple is situated on the banks of the Alaknanda River. The deity of Dhari Devi temple is Goddess Kali and this holy shrine holds great importance amongst Hindus. Dhari Devi is situated 48kms from Khirsu on the Srinagar – Rudraprayag road. One must trek down 1km from the road to reach the Dhari Devi Temple.

Rudraprayag: Rudraprayag is situated at the confluence of Alaknanda River and Mandakini River from where Alaknanda River proceeds to meet Bhagirathi River to form the sacred Ganges. The distance from Khirsu to Rudraprayag is 56kms. Rudraprayag is the only confluence situated on Alaknanda River which is also considered as state district. Rudra is one of the 108names of Lord Shiva. The road to Kedarnath Dham and Badrinath Dham diverts from this point and therefore this place is popular amongst the people to make a night halt and explore the charm and beauteousness of this sanctified place. The district covers an area of approximately 1890sqkms and the height of the Rudraprayag town is 4200ft above sea level. A dam is also under construction on the way to Rudraprayag via Srinagar.

Dewalgarh: Situated 22km from Khirsu, Dewalgarh was established in the 14th century. Dewalgarh was the capital of the Kings of Garhwal before they shifted to Srinagar. The temples of Goddess Raj Rajeshwari and ruins of an old palace reveal the history of Garhwal and its artistical architectures.

Adwani: Situated 22kms from Khirsu, Adwani is famous as a picnic spot surrounded by the mountains and thick forest, this place is very cold as compared to nearby places. Adwani is connected by a well-maintained 17 kms long road from Pauri. There is a Forest Rest House where one can stay. Many people come here from Pauri for nature walk, enjoying peace in the forest area. Ranigarh is 1 km from Adwani at an altitude of 7200 feet, which has its historical importance.
